Joan's Story
I am retired from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, since 2007. Time for a rest after 45 yrs. in the work force. After H.S., I worked 10 yrs. for FBI, NYO, as Conf. Stenographer & 35 yrs. for Lehigh University as Secretary to Chairman/Office Manager, Admin. Assoc. I have one son, 32 yrs. of age, graduate of Kutztown University. Was working for Sony for a while and is now working for the Bethlehem Sands Casino as Mgr., Sales & Marketing. Married to lovely gal by the name of Colleen. She is a Vet's Tech. Welcomed first grandchild (Dominic Thomas) in May. 2014 (See photo above of the two of us.). A new granddaughter made her appearance a few days ago. (Alina Ruth) born 5/16/16) . eel). He will retire in Dec. 2017, & continue to do some consulting for his co.) Lots of traveling, lots of getting together with friends. Reconnected with Mary Voss, Leslie Chanin and Marie Vanacore after many years. Have been traveling to FL for the last 4 yrs. vacationing together. It's been great. Still see Bernice Schaffer, Doris Orlando and Dolores Henkel and my next door neighbor from Hicksville, (Class of '64), Terri Wurtzel. Sadly, our classmate and friend Jean Kluepful passed away in 2012. Volunteer for Bethlehem Special Olympics as PR Coordinator for 15 yrs. Life is good.
Enjoyed very much seeing all of you from Notre Dame, New Hyde Park, at 50th reunion. Wonderful that so many of us could get together. May the gods watch over each of you and keep you well.
